Easy living in Fresh Produce in Fort Lauderdale

It's all about living the casual, beach lifestyle, whether you're a tourist or a So Fla native, at Fresh Produce on Las Olas. The vibe at Fresh Produce, from the wood floors and expansiveness of the space, to the array of comfy clothing, give it a laid back, loose and beachy feel. Manager Suzi describes the clothing as "easy wear."

 Fresh Produce was started in 1984 and has stores nationwide, with this particular Fort Lauderdale location having been in business since June of 2001. 85% of the clothing is made in the U.S. and it is very good quality. This store carries beach-style essentials from starfish necklaces made out of gilded silver to long, cotton sundresses. In fact, most of the clothing is cotton and very breathable. Fresh Produce offers an array of comfy outerwear and accessories, including:

• Beach bags (colorful, woven)
• pocket books (Vera Bradley, etc.)
•  t-shirts
• skirts
• pants
• sun dresses
• Clothes to "lounge in"

Fresh Produce is moderately priced, with jewelery anywhere from $10 to about $40 and clothing, around $25+.  They are currently having a "side walk sale", where racks of clothing are displayed at discounted prices in front of the store. The Las Olas location will also be holding an in-store event on March 16, in which the first 50 customers who spend $50 will get a free scarf.
